Passat survived with no issues , but took a notion for a petrol and bought this, wasn't particularly after a type r but got a good deal and its mint, think it maybe had a respray as there isn't a scratch or ding on it and it isn't the usual pink, can't find any tell tale signs of a respray though, maybe John could tell me?
Only have 2 pics atm, came with full stainless exhaust, coilovers etc, maybe going to do some performance mods, whats the norm for mods on these? Induction kits etc? Has some sort of big cone filter on it at the moment but looks as though it will do nothing other than suck a load of heat in.

nice, more red then mine
Raise it up a bit as it wont be doing the steering angles any favours. What coilovers has it got?
Ditch the cone and get an enclosed induction kit. Full exhaust, manifold, filter, remap will get you 220-30 bhp and ALOT more mid range power. Which is what they lack out the box

Going up in the world! You're like that Craigslist guy gradually going from shit to riches.
Don't do a thing to that imo, looks perfect as it is. No silly windscreen tints, no broken suspension, no upturned exhausts and no cb aerials to talk dirty to truck drivers.

Looks like you got a nice one there. One off the local lads here has got a black one of these with a supercharger on it and it's nuts!!
What mods you got in mind for it?

I was pushing it a bit today round some bumpy roads and it didn't feel very settled, I thought it needed to be a bit lower to settle it down a bit , not sure what coilovers are in it, there red springs, probably some budget brand. Will look into some of them mods as its dead until vtec kicks in y0 lol.
Thanks Ben, not be long until I have a BMW like you

Must have a look as it didn't fill me with confidence , seems a bit pricey though for a lump of metal

That was the first thing I noticed, said someone reversed into him in a car park and cracked one of his lights so replaced them with the newer type, I think they look better anyway tbh

Don't fucking ruin that!
As Gav said, those mods will give you 220-240bhp, but it'd the mid range gains that will transform the car. I would find out what suspension is on it, and if its a cheap shit make, sell it and put standard suspension on. It'll handle better.

Was really inpressed with standard suspension. Whacked it on with ebaich springs to do a trackday whilst my coilovers were been refreshed and it was actually really neutral and nice. Bit rolley mind

Can't say for sure, but I believe that might prove a bit complicated.
