Quite good really, shows them that they can't just play shit again and again and have people spunking their cash on them.
Will probably still be one of the highest attendance's in Europe anyway.

Also, as someone painted out on talksteve earlier, kids go back to school tomorrow, and the usual attendance other than the hardcore is families with the £50 deals, so they're probably giving it a miss as well

It sounds better because you haven't got 90,000 morons all singing it out of sequence.

Hate agreeing with Townsend, but I think we should build around Sterling. Play him where he wants to go and sort shit out from that

They both arrived at roughly the same age, both are ineffective on the wing and prefer playing through the middle. So far that's where the similarities end.

Not the best of starts to life without LVG. 2-0 down with 10 men 15 minutes in

Well, decent results for the home nations last night, unless you count Gibraltar as a home nation
Englands team for tonight - Hart, Baines, Cahill, Stones, Jones, Delph, Henderson, Wilshere; Sterling, Rooney, Welbeck.
Which I guess means Rooney Left, Sterling right, no width in the midfield?
Or a 4-2-3-1 ? With Delph and Henderson holding, Wilshire left, Rooney, Sterling right, and Welbz fucking shit up, up front by himself? Or I suppose, Rooney up top, Welbeck, Sterling wide and Wilshire attacking mid?

About fucking time.
Now that is what Welbz does best. No thinking. Just first time... And shinning it.
