So as said in general chat I wanted a sport but decided to go see this. Theres a few bits I'm not happy with but for what i paid I'm very happy
First up some pics....
So the reason I've been able to get one - sold the clio 200 as a promotion at work meant I now have a company car.
It's big and a bit bland but it's comfy and practical - i actually love it
Now the imp whilst easily fixable is a bit too far gone for me and my talents, i cba with rust - a little bit is ok but this was quite bad in a few places. Plus my cousin has his renault 5 on the road pretty much and i want a project i can drive whilst modifying. Anyway the imp....
So these are the pics i was send from the garage - the price in the window is nowhere near what I paid - its a 75k mile corsa sxi - boggo standard. Runs well, 5 months mot and 6 months tax.
Rusty bonnet
Bay needs a good clean/tart up but is sound
Spare wheel well
Inside - no radio
The journey home... 220 mile round trip
Lol my dad looking less than impressed - was like that farmer tractor video
And home - need to sell the imp so i can garage this
Soo theres a few pics lol
The car isnt mint, the pics flatter it - it has rust on the bonnet, a tiny dab on the boot too
It has 3 parking dings on one side and a small crease on the other. It is 14 years old.
Thus far I have ordered:
Fk coilovers - probably crashy and shit but they are cheap and will last me till I need something better.
Slatted badgeless grill
New ariel
Underseal
Things on the to do list:
Fit coilies, grill and aerial
Get cav arb
Get big brakes
Get some g60 or mini steels and refurb
Underseal properly
Fit wiper bung
A bloody good clean and polish
De badge/strip
Issues i have found:
Rear seat back is knackered - the driver side mount is stuck (need new seat and mount)
The boot has been painted and the wiper not removed - it has marks but will be ok for now
2 of the bungs on the wheel well have rust around - will patch these
Hi

Looks tidy enough. Not convinced you'll have it that long but it'll be fun doing it up. I've always bought hatchbacks like this because it seemed a good idea at the time and then got bored
You fitting speedlines to it? Black corsa lowered on speedlines look great.
Shame about the imp
Edit to say I didn't see the wheel idea that you had.

Morettes are a good call, not a fan of irmy rears tho personally, always think red rear lights look much cleaner on a car

Bit of an annoying day today lol
Lol so the steels ive bought
So the holes in the wheel well - not too
The mark around the wiper
Mmmm
Then ffs ......
Bit of a pisser - seems its had some rear end, quarter damage, obviously light as theres no signs internally. Mehhh going to have to touch the bodge up with a brush till a later date.
Meh mixed emotions as the inner arches are great

Why did you bother removing the strips? They don't stand out on a black car anyway. Stick them back on
I'm currently watching a corsa on eBay .... Might get me something to stop me modding the zed
