So I’ve been looking for a while now. I finally decided to dig my hand in my pocket and get myself one.
Its 12 months old with 15k. Its a 2.0 diesel 177 sline black edition. £30 a year tax and 50+ to the gallon
I'm certainly over the moon with it. A fantastic motor and a nice place to be inside.
This is the only picture I have at the mo as I’ve been in work all week and not had chance to get a decent set.
I thought I’d share
Thought’s?... Good or bad welcome

I know where your coming from mate. If I lived over the road from work then a slightly older S model would of been looked at.
I do alot of miles. Cheap'ish running is a must for me buddy. As long as its got everything the S has with regards to styling and toys then im happy.
I've not bought it for speed

Father in law had one of these, 2.0 petrol Quattro, incredible things and imo one of the best looking cars on the road, especially in moonstone.
How do you find the handling ? My only criticism was it felt somewhat wooden.

Cheers guys,
Neo.. I find the handling ok. Not really battered it into corners. But I do have to say it does tram line a lot on any indentation in the road.

Daytona grey is probably the best Audi colour IMO. Enjoy it

Cheers lads.
Byron, it's not Daytona mate. It's Monsoon gray metallic. It's just ever so slightly a lighter shade than Daytona. The picture makes it look dark as the sun was going down and it was off my crappy iphone.
I wanted either white or Daytona. That was my requirements to Audi for a 12 month old car search. But this came up and I seen it and really liked it.

looks awesome - interior starting to look a bit dated but still a lovely place to be
I was surprised how small they feel inside (not a bad thing) considering how big they look from the outside

Cheers guys. I don't think they look dated. My B7 A4 was dated
It's a great place to be like you say
Being on the hunt for a 2 door coupe I did give BMW a chance and went to look at the 420d as they were similar price for similar age. Very nice cars but being honest it was no contest with regards to interior and looks IMO when I was spending that money. It drove pretty much the same at normal daily driving. Obviously bigger engines, rear wheel drive is much better. But for my use, it just wasn't the better car IMO, But that is only my opinion. Everybody has there own taste.

Dated interior? Srsly? I think it looks perfect. Not over the top, just functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Love the muscle car-esque shape of these. That rear 3/4 view is lovely. I want one now!!!
