we all love these willy waving threads.

20k (maybe a bit more for the right car)

quick, a little bit special, 4 seats are a bonus as have a pooch, able to handle the odd track day each year, no rediculous repair bills (ruled out rs4s for this reason). something fairly 'new' (nothing 10+ years)

Been edging toward e92 M3 and B8 S4's (map to Rs4 quick without the silly rs4 issues) and then the other end of the spectrum of lotus elise/exige

don't know anything about mercs so anyone clued up on their AMGs?

any fairly obvious cars i'm overlooking?

My mate in work had a mk2 focus RS and he said although it was quick, it felt very lardy and he prefers his new fiesta st mountune as it handles better.

In his words, the RS is the car equivilent of a person running around with a suitcase.

I think you'll be disappointed after the S2000.

E92 M3 will have big repair bills. Remember V8 = 2x VANOS units

There's a stigma with every car. I'd rather have the drug dealer tag than the hairdresser one I have now
