Picked it up today, must say having never driven one I'm well impressed!
I'm the 3rd owner it's been in Norwich all it's life untill now obviously, fsh and 48k on the clock
After doing some research before hand iv red up about the dreaded timing chains so first up ill probably replace them, followed by some dap r springs, wheels, rear boot strip and diffuser in black, wind deflectors, light tints, aero wipers and decat it all in good time

Cheers lads! Made up with it can't believe how well it shifts for a big bus!!
Regarding running costs I got insurance on it for just over £400 a year fully comp tax is £500 a year which is shit lol but fuel wise my pal who took me to pick it up filled his tank on the return trip as did I, his is a 08 1.8 SRI vectra c and when we got home he had just under half a tank and I had just over 1/4 that was 270 mile trip so I'm quiete impressed as it wasn't all motorway driving a lot of a roads and stop start traffic too

Looks good.
Red ones have really grown on me recently. Would have Red over Blue all day long if I wanted one in a loud colour.
Decent plans too, should look well when finished.

The Vxr wasn't bought to replace the cav really, the cav was going anyway due to lack of use and time to do work on it, iv done what I wanted to do with it so someone else can enjoy it Allthough I do miss it, IMO it was better off going, wanted a vectra Vxr for ages and also the plan for getting rid of the cav and my vectra estate is so I don't have to tax and insure two cars one of which doesn't even get used so I thought now was the time to get my Vxr as it's fast and practical all in one so suits my needs.

Thanks mate! Yeah that's it I personally don't think they suit blue,
I also like that they apparently only made 71 in red (nerd)
