Now you know how I felt back when Arsenal lost to United. Possibly their best performance of the season yet United won 2-1.
If ever there was an example for the term 'blagging it', you just have to look at United. Arsenal's and Liverpool's inconsistencies this season have masked how utterly bollocks United have played. Hopefully this weekend is the start of United being pushed back down to where they should be. Praying for Southampton and Liverpool to draw tomorrow.
You know United have been crap when Ivanovic has 2 more goals than Falcao

Jose pretty justified today, the tackle on Matic was horrendous, and he pushed him but didn't touch the face, surely a yellow would of been suffice? Referee just had a shocker today, should of had a penalty or two, also. The inconsistency of the referees is shocking, but that's football.
Also, no excuse, we have enough quality to win that match.

Combination of a shit manager totally out of his depth, players who couldn't careless and a hierarchy who think its sound business acumen to let all of our defensive cover leave in January with out any bringing in any replacements to what is already a thread bear squad!

Good grief, how pathetic that they have to resort to cheating
5 minutes injury time, where from?
Harry Kane went down like Rooney. Sad cunt.
Shows how far we've come that such a ''big'' team have to cheat to get a point. Enjoy it you Jewish cunts.

Not looking good for United at the moment. Almost like there are too many star names and not enough O'Shea, Fletcher types to just put in a shift.
York well and truly beat by Northampton but FC United won and up to 2nd with quite a few games in hand Some small team owned by the Class of '92 top their table too

Right, can people with more football knowledge than me (not you Steve) explain the Ashley Barnes thing to me? So far as I can see Barnes passed the ball just before Matic tackled him and was unlucky to catch him with the follow through. In slow mo and stills it looks terrible but Barnes had his eye on the ball at all times, I'm not sure where else his foot was meant to end up.
Also keep seeing people refer to it as a horror tackle, yet he had the ball

Gotta admit, I did wonder the same thing when I saw it. As always in slow motion it looks terrible. I guess they're suggesting the follow-through was unnecessary and he didn't have to go into Matic's shin?

Amazed how anyone can say it was a bad tackle and could be a "career ender". Especially when Matic got straight back up.
I played on Saturday and sprained by ankle in a tackle. I didn't get up and shove the other player over though and claim it to be horrendous tackle

If you pause if at the point of the contact, then it looks terrible, but when you watch it in context, there isnt much to it

So Matic threw his leg in late and gets caught by the end of the pass?
Not sure what else Barnes could have done.
Also absolutely no excuse for getting up and giving him the push.
