I have seen a number plate which reads my full name . Part of me wants it as it reads correctly and I wouldn't have to do any spacing or anything. But would you have your full name on your number plate? Is it wise to be giving everyone your name ?

That's a good price if you're happy with it. I paid 799 for an AL14 N plate last year and havn't been able to put it on a car yet
Just coughed up £25 retention as well

I don't get why it wouldn't be wise to give someone your full name via a private plate? Also it's only ever going to read either your first or surname or possibly an initial too unless your "full" name is really short.
Plus the plate your looking at looks like a bog standard 13 plate reg to anyone else so if it means something to you then go for it, I doubt anyone's going to know its privste though other than you or people who know you

Your name is KY13 HOY?
Doesn't look like a personalised plate to me. Make of that what you will.

It doesn't look like a personal one, no, but to be fair his name is Kyle Hoy and he wont get another plate that says his name like that one. Buy it Imo.

I have P8OWW on the alfa with no spacing at all, never had an ounce of trouble from the 5 0 in the 5 years it's been on there.

It's very rare a new style plate actually looks personalised... Prefer a one or two number old style one.

What difference does it make you've told everyone on here what your name is
To some people they won't realise it's a private plate, you probably won't get a better one so I would go for it

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's just your own personal preference.
If i were to get a personalised plate, i'd want it to look like a personalised plate, rather than a plate that makes my car look older than it is to 99.99% of people.

My plate is my full name. When I was younger and stupid it caused me a lot of problems but it isn't an issue now and I wouldn't get rid of the plate for anything.
I don't see why you wouldn't buy it if it is available and you can afford it.

I think it's subtle enough to look good. Unless people know you they wouldn't read that as your name, just see it as a standard plate.
