So with the mini sold and some money burning a hole in my pocket I bought myself a new car
Was looking at these before the mini. And about a year into owning the mini but never bought one.
Glad I did though. Lovely car. Nice to drive. Not too harsh suspension on it either. And to be fair it's pretty damn quick.
38k on the clock. Full Mazda service history including the 3k service.
All mot's present and accounted for
No rattles
No smoke
No knocks
No bangs
Pulls like a train
Comes with a cork sport SRI fitted and came with the standard air box in the boot
Just had the abs pump replaced at Mazda
Pearl white with a full aero kit paint work in really really good condition. No scratches or dents anywhere.
Slight leak from the rocker box but that's no issue what so ever. And the front wheel baring has a slight groan at about 60mph onwards.
Couple of the dealership photos.
Will be staying like this for a few months while I get some money saved up for it. Then I'll start going at it

Looks quite smart that, like it in white. I want to say Graham or one of the other long serving members has had/got one of these.

Unsure of the reference here. But I will say there customer service was fucking horrific and the salesmen were a bunch of pricks.

nice car, that company has one of the worst reputations out there though for selling cars, really make sure its thoroughly checked, they are terrible and shift a lot of crap, bit like the new Keighley (now Motorhub)

Car does look nice, but they always do. They're not too far from where I live. Have a look at their rep online, I'd never buy from there. Been discussions on here in the past about them.

...and here it is for several thousand cheaper
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231554963452
All cars are sourced from ebay and gumtree, and I know for a fact they will have paid less than the price on the advert. You're better off just buying on ebay/gumtree yourself.
On this occasion it looks like a decent car tbh, but there's been some shitters and non registered write-offs gone through there many a time.

Nice buy mate, graham88 one was lovely as well. Search for his project thread for some ideas, think peoples put off these by the high road tax! Only ever drove 1 of them and it went very well. Actilly think id prefer one of these over a vxr or st for the luxery of having back doors on it

I've gone over it myself in work. I'm a tech for Nissan. Any car I ever buy I always give them a good go over.

Seriously though I'd probably of stayed away if I had known all this but to me the car seems fine.
I did my own hpi on it before I bought it aswell
im happy with it anyways and to me it's a good solid car. Hopefully I'm not wrong

It does looks really nice. They're not all complete shite, just usually have a hefty markup from a week prior when they were on gumtree/ebay.
You're clued up on them anyway so it's all good

Done 150 miles to half a tank so far, exactly the same as my mini did haha
I don't get the blue badge bit though haha

Yer there's a fair amount of torque steer. It's nothing that makes it in controllable though. The mk2's have a torque dampening motor in the power steering column to combat it. Not sure if it worked or not though haha.

As in a disabled badge so you don't have to sell a kidney to tax it
