Hi Guys, just want to know one should I or Shouldn't I, they are on 225/45/17's I like the wheels but not sure if they can be rubbed down, are diamond cut wheels or wheels like this covered in laquer? and how much should I pay, if its good price can be one refurbed, will also enquire of outer rim refurb, but what you guys think? I believe they will suit my black D very well. I like Idea of 225s, will look nice and chunky, the width of wheels is 7.5 too. ET 40
all opinions advice welcomed <3
ps my standard 1.4 design wheels have bit of curbing would these stick out looking bad with curbing etc or be ok? what can I do to clean them up?
thankx

they look decent. I'd probably only pay £800 for them because they could do with a refurb.

They also have a load of corrosion on the face which is usual of diamond cut/polished wheels that have been used in winter. Requires a full refurb, probably looking at around 250 quid for that alone.

Them tyres are top end tyres though! Despite the condition of the diamond cut faces any wheels that are diamond cut with tyres of that calibre fitted are worth £800 minimum!!!! Anything less than that and your getting a bargain not to mention how amazing it'll make the car look!!!!
Wow I can picture it now. I'm excited for you.

Tyres are nearly 4 years old. Should knock some money off for that alone.

I wont be spending too much or them after buying, I'm not really one to spend too much on the car, really just want better handling and yeah will look good with 17s, just not sure if these will stand out looking bad without refurbs

Rubber degrades. When I bought my car it had 3 year old tyres on. On the sidewall you will see 4 number together Eg: 2413. This means they were manufactured in the 24th week of 2013. Over time, the rubber degrades and cracks. You usually see the cracks on the outside of the sidewall.
I got an advisory on my MOT for it and I guess if it's dangerous enough, it would fail.
4 year old tyres on may well be fit for the bin, basically.

Don't pay over the odds just because of the Pitelli tyres. Those are woeful tyre performance wise!

Could be genuine but lets assume its not and be a bunch of cunts for weeks every time we see a post.
You fuckers are the same pricks who complain the site is quiet.
And this isn't trolling or sarcasm or any other form of faggotry, please do not fucking complain to me that the site is quiet but then act like a gang of utter bully cunts laughing in your pants when you have the opportunity to deal with someone new.
You're all old enough and wise enough to know where the fucking line is. Don't confuse fairly relaxed moderation (one message which has been mostly ignored?) with the absence of a requirement to be a bit fucking adult and have a bit of a joke but not turn it in to a fucking campaign.
