Because electricity makes some fucking weird noises. Ok if you aren't able to hear that kind of thing, but if you can, it's the stuff of nightmares.

Transformers will allows hum as it's the plates of steel vibrating around the copper coils

Yeah started to add extras got them to throw in 5k towards extras with the house

Some of it we can get done after loads cheaper as missus dad owns a building business

Had an open roof one with 3 in there next to my mums house for 20 years and you couldn't hear them at all.
