Yes believe me, i've got 17" tornados on my mighty 12V, and it is much slower than it was with 15s, however it does look well mint. No need to drive around at 90 mph anyway.

Ok i had 15z on for about 6 months o-60 took about 15 secs than put on 17z, acceleration was knocked down by another two sec so looking at 18,19 secs but to be honest even though the acceleration is shit it looks so so so much better

The acceleration may be pooer but the looks out weigh everything!

1.0ltr was never designd to be fast any way so whats it matter?

Only minimal advantage is when ya going is no problem speed wize but ya wont get much more top end speed coz the engine doesnt have the tourque.

Hope it helps phil

you wont loose any acceleration because you don't have any to begin with....

as for lowering, u know the rules by now!!! offset, bolts, trim plastic arch!!!

also, i'd look at getting a 60/40 split because the 1.0 is light as fuk and therefore the front will not drop the full 40mm

get 49 offset and lower 40mm or as gambit said prob better, u wont need to trim the arch just remove the top 3 bolts from the rear right arch....left one doesnt need to b done.

its the way the corsa chassis is mounted to the body all corsa B bodys are slightly distorted in manufacture thats why the left neva has probs but often than not the right does
