Anybody know anything about them? Seem to get some good results from maps on vw and Audi stuff. Prices are about half of what an Apr map costs.

Perhaps I'm always dubious that any company offering services in that area are formerly know as v sport.....

I'd be careful, seems to be lots of these companies now offering remaps. I suspect 90% of them are just lads who have bought a fancy lead.

It will be a 'stolen map' with some additions to the map to make it there own. I did it with the megane first time and it was a clone of a RST map with some really dodgy ignition timing. Made more power on the dyno but it didnt touch it when i had it done by RST

I wouldn't skimp on a remap for a car that's worth a fair amount.

Both void the warranty just the same........

Someone recommended them to me, but I had never heard of them hence asking. Apologies if it's caused some arguments and bad feeling.

I would avoid them personally. Iv heard nothing but bad things about them around my neck of the woods.

The performance center in Sunderland would be my choice they are part of REVO .

Ecotune sounds like the most uninspiring remap company ever to have existed.

Was going to suggest that if you're going down to Lanchasire at any time then ADE are well worth a look at. Loads of people recommend them.

Isnt Jed from Durham? His 8x6 shed is probably their World HQ. Need to push his all motor v6 corsa out before you can get your car in and hooked up to his windows 95 pc.

Ecotune have started to get a good rep been hearing alot about them recently.

Also have a few others up here. Star Performance who are a VAG specialist meant to do good maps.

Falkland Performance are a Revo dealer.

Performance HQ who i think are more Jap but still do bespoke maps.

SOS Motorsport who are a bit of everything.

Why? Compared to an Apr map? Explain your comments or are you trash talking?

Ecotune have a very good rep up here. My mates mk2 Cupra R was mapped with them (Apr) and makes 440bhp/460lbft.

Shark performance is another very good shout. Think they might be closer to you as well.

They are great and have fantastic reviews and reputation....

Its a proper custom map, not a generic file.

I have been running a Shark map on my TT for a couple of years, runs very well and have had no issues at all.
