I use Mintex on my Evo. Started with M1144, then 1155 and now 1166. Higher the number, the more track orientated they are. Can't fault them and a hell of a lot cheaper than Ferrado

GSF have 40% of braking at the moment, obviously that limits your choices though

What's your intended use? Pointless making suggestions without knowing that. Are you happy to compromise on noise and cold performance for better performance with temperatures?

Used them in the Leon and after a few track days they were still spot on. Used them in neumerous cars before that as well without any issues. Just lucky I guess. Heard Mintex pads are good. I used a set of ferodo ds2500 pads on my old Cupra R and they destroyed my new discs within a few months. You goin to be using the car on the odd track day??

Perhaps you don't know what decent brakes are meant to feel like?

they lasted hardly any time and gave an awful feel, like you had no pads just sponge. when they are cold, its like a breeze block for a pad, nothing, then they have perhaps 30 seconds where they work ok, then marshmallow feeling, as if you could keep pushing the pedal until it came through the floor of the car and it still wouldn't stop you. each to their own, perhaps your driving style is different to mine.

I'd check to see what options there are for aftermarket pads on a 7R, i don't think many make them

How heavy is the car they are going on?
In the vx i use carbon lorraine rc5+ pads.. They work well from cold and last ages when hot.. But.. I can push them too far and over heat them.. So in a heavier car they might drop off quicker.. But this is on track not the street.
Other good pads i have tried
Performance friction (dont know the compound)
Pagids rs14 or rs15
Other normal pads
Ferodo ds2500's are meh on the vx, maybe not heavy enough to really get them working (i havent tried them on track)
Mintex 1144's or 1155's.
Ebc blue are supprisingly not that bad but i have only driven them in slow street type driving..
