Apparently there is an attempted Coup by a group within the military currently underway in Istanbul. Could be interesting, low flying jets and helicopters witnessed, doesn't sound like the usual low key attempt.

I've got this idea in my head that isis have infiltrated the Turkish army

What's the reason for this coup? Hopefully it will benefit us, rather than Turkey buying isis oil etc.

Government are in control again.

Seems to be all about religion once again, Some people are happy with the presidents way of keeping Turkey a religious state, but others wanted him to release the shackles and let the county become more westernised.

Looked a bit of a half arsed attempt by some fuckwits in the army.
