Another forum I am a member of managed to organise this years annual meet at toyota GB HQ with a free buffet (still no WR BBQ ) and a look round the new 2017 GT86
50 members in attendance and no facebook involvement proves there is still forum activity. Convoy of 25 cars from Cobham services on the M25 certainly got some looks

Some pictures from the day of mine off my phone and a couple of toyotas own pics.

Never seen so many cars in the same place where the key modification is the rear lights

Looks like Toyota have spotted the issue with the 2017 model

Not as slow as you think as they are not that heavy. About the same speed and feel as an n/a type r or clio etc

Not that popular. I think toyota have sold about 1000 pa since release

MX5 sells well with less power and no roof, nobody struggles to understand them.

So these are targeted at the same person as the 'hot-hatch' buyer? That makes more sense.

As above though. With the links to Subaru, a turbocharged boxer surely isn't too far fetched.

That's what a diesel Mondeo owner will tell you.

Don't tell me, does it get it's occupant from A to B as well?

Diesel Mondeos do not handle well and are not fun to drive. Redundant point anyway as it's not the owners who make those claims - it's the car journalists
