Nothing of note, be nice if it started doing it every year so it became less of a spectacle when it does.

Also be nice if it didn't turn people in to complete bellends.

Yes if it were regular perhaps we would have the resources to deal with it.

2 common reoccurring questions when I met other Europeans on my travels over the last few years :

1) They always asked me if it was true that English girls are sluts and drink as much or more than the Men. - I am not making this up, heard this from Dutch, Norwegian and Thai nationals many times.

2) Why does the whole of the UK come to a standstill with a dusting of Snow? I could not really answer this one

The met Office made a bit of a cock up with this. Predicting snow is presumably pretty hard.

We were in an Amber area and got a dusting.

Basingstoke 30 miles north got fucked over yesterday.

Same here, had pretty much sod all despite being in an Amber alert. Probably a good thing to be honest, it should only Snow on xmas day.

Got screwed over by Manchester airport last Wednesday - closed the airport at 0630 - was sat on the plane ready to. Missed my connection in Heathrow - Manchester airport was a complete joke

didn't cancel it just made us wait for 4hrs on the plane - should have landed at Heathrow at 0730 and landed at 1145
