Whilst givin my car a general once over......i thought (out of interest) i'll have a gander to see what looms my car was built with. It appears i've got the loom for EVERYTHING? The only reason this suprized me, is that other ppl off here with same year corsa, or newer, dont have half this stuff. Anyway, looms i found.......

*Heater seat+seatbelt warning light (+loads other under carpet wiring coiled up that i'm gonna look up in Haynes)
*Front fog light wiring (coiled up in the main loom in engine bay)
*Full electric window, mirror and CL loom (up until door)
*Loadsa airbag, alarm wiring....

I no alot of people will proabably post up saying, "wow" etc (GTF).....but i just thought it was suprizing that they installed the higher spec wiring into a bottom of the range early model

anyway i dont mind,......means wiring up my leccy windows will be a hell of alot more easy.

yeah....LS is one up, but still pretty basic. i think it was like a "customiseable" model, which is why they put the loom in, so that extras were easier to put in...?

You proberbly would. There wernt much differences between the two. Think i managed to spot stuff like Glovebox, MFD, slightly better interior.

Neither of them had any decent stuff like CL, PS, SR. The later LS's (96+)started to get some spec though like CL, coded bumpers etc.

I was hoping mine would have some of the wiring in it for EW/EM, because its based on an LS. It doesnt

Before then. Mines a 97 pre facelift, and has only CL and Speaker wiring in the doors, and inside the car

they do a different loom every year. if you look in the haynes manual it has all the different loom types. they add things here and there.

Just cause the car is the same reg dont mean its gonna have the same loom. some cars are buit months before they've even registered

looks the pre 95 LS lads come up trumps for once Just really wierd....every where i seem to look, i have excess wiring not joined to anything.......

....a quick look in the boot showed an extra pair of wires (same colour as brakelight wires) which i assume is for a 3rd level b-light? didnt even no vaux ever fitted such a thing to corsas.....

Interesting stuff

Dave - I followef the wire thru the loom (inside the plastic tubing) across the top of the engine and down along the left hand-side down towards the bumper. i found 2 wires coiled up near the front slam panel, which according to haynes, are used for the foglights

i've got a 95 sri and have a plug with wires out of it for fog lights and heated front seats (that's all i've found so far).

i've got an airbag and c/l in the car too

i was wondering how i would find out if i've got he wiring for electric windows?

is it just a case of having about 20 wires in the the door loom?

Fitted in some rear irmscher spoilers. Is that wiring on the drivers, or passengers side. I take it its just wrapped up in the normal tail light loom?
