..........came into my work today. To cut a VERY long story short...
*The New corsa GSi will feature a 202bhp 2.0 16v turbo power plant
*Vaux have developed the 2.2 16v Turbo. he couldnt tell me performance figures but well over 250bhp in their vx220 test car.
This guy didnt seem to be lying at all.....and the foto's we were developing at work for him definately seemed to back up the fact he worked their etc
This guy has been comin into my branch for years and definately isnt some1 to make stuff up.......

yeah i no - he was tellin me loadsa more stuff but coz i aint no engine wizard it went straight over my head.
But i did pick up on the fact that they've already dropped a 2.2 turbo into a vx test car and basically......its SWIFT!! full alu block so even less weight!!

lol @ Adam.......i think this guy is morn on the technical side of things. He kept goin on bout how stricter emissions meant that they are losing so much power potential on some of the engines at the mo. up to 25% in some cases.......

Lets just hope they re-design the chassis in the face-lift version to cope with all that extra weight and power. I think Vauxhall have learnt their lesson now, i can see them pulling it off

my car has 117 ib/ft of torque u muppet @6000rpm Please do not even try to compare the performance of our two vehicles
