'Im currently writing the envelopes out as we speak. All thats needed is a small map and instructions to go in the envelopes and I'll send them off first class. You will all have them very soon.

Also, to add a note, originally I was hoping to get the cars at the show before 9.30am. However, the gates open at 7am and the PUBLIC gates open at 9am, so can everyone try to get to the show before 9AM so that we have time to move the cars about, set everything up, etc The closer to 9am you turn up, the longer it will take to get in as the traffic WILL be very congested and has even been mentioned in the letter I received.

I have put a hell of a lot of work into this trying to make sure there are no mistakes, I'm putting the effort in here, so can people please do me the favour and do the same.

There are numerous convoys travelling from various parts of the country. Please check under your local area in Regional to see if there is a convoy near you. But, also, a few of us are going to camp the night at Santa Pod. Gates open at 5pm. The charge is £5 per person (con imo, but never mind), and you pay AT THE GATE when you arrive. There are toilets, showers and food and drinks facilities available.

As taken from the letter sent to me.

If any members want to participate on the 1/4 mile sprint, they will need to bring their current, full, driving license. Strip tickets will be sold on the day only, and you get three tickets for £12. These tickets will be sold at the security gate by the public carpark, NOT at the main gate where you hand over your show entrance tickets to gain entry to Santa Pod. There are only 1000 runs available (250 tickets) and will be available on a first come first serve basis.

I look forward to seeing you all there nice and early Sunday morning (or some of you on Sat night), and if anyone has any probs, please U2U me.

Thanks

Daimo

hey, remind me - is there a convoy going up the m1 to santa pod?

I'll be coming from slough... just curious if there is one as it'd be cool to all drive in together. Though it'd have to be early to get in before it opens, that reminds me - I've gotta ask for the day off work. And if they don't give it to me I'll just phone in saying that I had a late night last night and got very drunk. So drunk that I've awoken this morning to find myself sitting in a field at performance vauxhaul with my car boxed in and no way to get home...

Sorry, I cannot come and operate the rides at legoland windsor theme park today -
