Who cares? WE WON!!! First half was pants - thought Lampard played well as did Vassel. I felt we missed Beckham - he holds the team together.

The 1st half was pitiful, we should be ashamed. 2nd wasn't amazing by any standards, merely an improvement over a terrible 1st half.

The atmosphere was most definately not wank! You can never get the full feel of the atmosphere through a TV, anyone who has ever been to a match will tell u that.
Anyway shit performance or not, we won. If we played like that every game and still won i'd be smiling

first half's formation was dreadful, i got so pissed off at the match, began to watch the movie on ch5!!!

world cup quater finals ring any bells nath, the biggest game of tournament and i'd hardly say we competed with them. The fact is we are a long way off being one of the best teams in the world

We beat argentina no?? We beat germany 5-1 no?? We lost to the eventual winners in the quarters in an open game, hardly a disaster is it mate. Oh yeh what was the Denmark score again? 3-0 to England, now that was easy.

I pretty much agree with u guys poor 1st half but better 2nd half and i was very pleased to see that Heskey didnt even touch the ball (not that he does when hes on the pitch anyway normally on the floor)

Argentina currently the worst team they have had for many years, Germany lets not go there it was an excellent result no doubt (but as i said we lost 1-0 at home to them thanks to some excellent seaman goalkeeping), the Denmark game was good although sorensen had a 'mare (heskeys goal)
I love England just some people take things a little out of perspective (the nation as a whole) and we've got a decent chance of doing well in Portugal, just pointing out tonights performance was hardly encouraging

I agree with you ryan the performance wasnt great but we got 3 points. What would u prefer? 3 points and shit performance, or 0 points and a great performance. If we play bad and win then i'm happy.
