I got one in my Micra, that and A Bass Cube. they really do add to the sound. Iv got infinity perfect comp in front and with the PG Eq you can set the freq to exactly what each speaker can handle. If you couldnt tell the difference then it wasnt working properly.
The Bass Cube seperate the different Bass Freq and lets you choose what Bass you like. 90% of subs are running with distorted Bass without a bass cube. for £200 Get one and try it,

Is yours the red Micra featured in Max power?

No its a New shape one.
Its due to be in Max power in sept this year. Its a 1.9 16v. Supercharged by Nismo. Its the only one in the country and is running 230bhp + NOS.
The stereo that is in the Micra is the one out of my quiksilver (only using 1 JL sub.)
Why do people take the piss when I asked about a track day? In the Events Forum I asked if people would like to meet up and have a track day, where people with the same interests (modifyin cars) could go and look at each others cars and race if they wanted.
What stereo has everyone got?

LOL "90% of subs are running distorted without a bass cube"
An EQ is to smooth out RTA respose, not to allow you to push a speaker to its useable limits.
Im a ten-percenter without a bass cube

Shit thats too bad! LOL enuff for me! Nah seriously ive never had mine metered, im going into my first EVER comp next month, going to enter into as many categories as poss just for a laugh, bearing in mine the 3-ways arent in yet.
Its against the grain but im going to enter into SPL aswell, running a 63Hz burp through the puppies, no idea what it going to hit but i no that things REALLY start getting violent at around that frequency with my system.
I mean its loud but from what people have told me serious bass is like "jeeze man i cudnt see and then i couldnt breathe and then i thought my heart was going to stop!!"
I mean is 145Hz all that? I sit in mine with tone burps and it grates my body and i recon things do get a touch blurrey but because im not feeling sick etc it aint a high figure? Anyway we'll see, i'll let you know how i do guys. Just hope its a shite SPL mic and i hit 150dB or something LOL i wont be taking the quoted figure too seriousley.

TOMAS - remind me what your running again???
I think with my new JL i should be able to hit higher than my first go. 143.3, cos i didn't have the volume on full (around 32 out of a possible 36) and the bass boost was on the lowest setting, (that thing has an 18dB effeciency)
Steve.

Snowy i thought i TOLD you about clipping!!! Turn it up anymore than 32 out of 36 and it will clip and WILL not get any louder, just burn the life out youre speakers! I have a very good Alpine h.unit. It goes up to 35, anymore than 29/30 and it begins to clip.
