Fcuking great weekend

Stayed up saturday night and got a bit hammered. Fell asleep at about 2ish, only to be up at 5.50am this morning Put the tent away then a few of us made our way round and we started getting the cars in. I know for new time how many 50+ cars take up now so we can space them better.

The weather was great, and i went and got me some strip tickets. Was hoping for a 15.5. I'd be happy with that. Results

15.24 - Nova - Thrashed
15.21 - MR2 Turbo - Had me off the line, was gaining went i got into 4th, but lost by about .5 of a sec.
15.29 - Astra GTE 16v - Cained it

I dont think i could of got 3 closer times if i tried. Guess that means the car does q-mile in 15.2 ish I had great fun doing it and will be back for more

Good to meet all of u (if briefly ), was a bit busy in the morning.Ian and myself agreed it was the largest Corsasport meet we've had, and roll on Trax ( )

Big thanks to Donna for all the help and a few ideas And big thanks to Trotty for collecting address, money etc. Top day

That really is one ridiculously HUGE lens for that camera, but I guess if you've got the money, why not!

And I was there when he was taking them, he actually got about 10 pics from your run, all I heard from his camera was *click* *click* *clickclickclclclclclick*

Best time today Low 14.8
Best ever 14.711
Anyone else notice the lack of grip on the strip?

Well, why not, nothing like cruising round in a Turbo Convertible, beats walking!

Santa Pod is notorious for it, it's been like that every time I've been...

Only saw you run once but start did look good. going on your runs today I wouldn't bet against you getting in the 14.9's when conditions are better.

Nahh, think a 14.9 is out of reach at the mo. Might take the false floor out for the summer toon do it again. Quite bloody heavy!!

Not bad for a standard 2.0litre 16v Power feels soooooo smooth, which is great, but today prroved its a good little lump iv'e got.

Im dead pleased still

The surface at Elvington, York, for Ten-Of-The-Best (practice-run) a while back was superb, but wasn't really open to everyone to run...

Anyone see that Yellow Nova? Not that mad one, was bit further away from the circuit behined the show n shine cars (or over that way). Dark 17" alloys, Roll cage, 2.0litre on Twin Carbs, big brakes, very tidy interior, (Well, 2 seats, few gauges etc )

Looked wicked, Very subtle, and quite quick too.
