thats old car and the guy cannot drive it as well as Dave can. fasted car driven buy a regular would be AK I recon. there are no others that are either on the road at the moment (Craigs C20LET) or been on the 1/4 mile.

AP has 280bhp at overboost, still no-where near as fast as luckys old car.

Craigs C20LET has done 13.8s compared to Daves 13.3 running a near standard engine, no LSD, standard tyres and an interior

It was/is.

BHP doesn't always mean how a car performs on the road. Even with 17"s Anups car struggles to get traction, even into 4th u can hear the tyres scrabbling.

Lucky's car was just pure "push u back in ur seat" from 0-140+mph.

Even at the CvS day, he hit 147mph in 1.5 miles, and had LOTs of RPM left

And i think Luckys had a little more spent on it too

Why, u getting the 250+TB kit?

U can have a 370bhp phs 4 LET engine in a corsa, but i still reckon Luckys would be faster

yes but daves car was N/A there was no sudden rush of torque with a turbo. power delivery was much more progressive.

Daves power was very smooth and usuable from 0-8500rpm.

Turbos are not as right foot friendy.

geta big enough turbo and you'll be alright. Andys car produces more torque than mine but his comes in a lot smoothe than mine over a wider rev range. this means grip is much better cause it's not all or nothing

NOS wont make it that much quicker? Or have u got a 200bhp Jet NOS kit? Neither would a supercharger.

There isn't anything else bar a blower

Could be quick over q-mile, but still wouldn't match luckys old car?

But its not what it does over a q-mile, it pulls and pulls till the speedos off the clock.

280bhp turbo vs 250bhp TB, my opinion bing in both.

TB Corsa for me every time. Ahhh the sound of TB at 8000+rpm
