Alright girls and guys,

There are two questions here about my Peugeot 106 XL Independence 1.1 that I got last night: -

1. Is it right that the warning lights don’t go off until I turn the engine over? And;
2. When I put my foot down in 1st, is it right that it take about a second before the power kicks in?

Thanks.

Another few questions:

1. Do you think it is safe to get the car up to the speed of 35 MPH in first gear? When i say safe, i mean, i'm not going to kill the engine or nothing.

2. Why can't i go from first gear into fourth? The gears just seem to crunch. I have to go into third and then into fourth WITHOUT bringing the clutch up. Huh?

3. How much do you think it will cost in which to fill it up with petrol? The tank was half full when i got it but i need to get some more tomorrow sometime.
