Just sold the old girl for £4700, so HA to those who scoffed at my price telling me it was too much for a 1.2! Only kiddin

Got meself a brand new Punto HGT so hopefully no more whiney 1.2 in my ear, just a roar and a fast climbin speedo!

Well saxo VTS = 120bhp and the flippin sunroof rattles when I shut the doors on the one I test drove! Shoddy build or what ..... anyway the HGT has 130 and is built a hell of a lot better.

Plus I only paid £9000 for a brand new 'un.

my mate just bought a brand new vts for £10k with free insurance

id have a vts anyday, like shit of a stick

10k, get a scoobie for 6k, and spend £2800 FC for insurance, and save the resof the money for next years insurance lol

thats what my mate did, 19 years old, scoobie tuned to 269 bhp by power engineering, sti interior, lovly car, tho hes gonna stuff it soon he drives like a tit

Theres one problem with the HGT, its a FIAT. End of topic.
VTS, fast yes but agree rattle a lot when the get older, well known for that.

I like the newer shape Puntos more than i do the old. BEst mates birds got a 1.2 16vv. 6 Speed box, comfyish.

Agreed the 1.8 16v engine isn't the fastest in the world, but im sure more could be extracted if wanted.

Couldn't see a Saxo runnign 320bhp odd (As featured this month)

I like em, not the quickest ever cars, but still ok

why not just buy a jap import which is 280bhp as standard?

Oh and nice wheels DanielJ, I had the same on my corsa. Seems to be jt about every car I see with alloys have those on!
