Right been thinking about getting new car 4 a while, will have 2.5k to spend max, I know it aint that much and limits me quite a bit, but I wana know people thinks best?

I'm really keen on a clio 16v, infact pretty certain now, as I aint gonna get a decent punto gt for 2.5k, and I don't want another corsa, clio handles well and puts out good power, insurance is about 1k for me in my own name.

Can anyone reccomend/think of something better for the money (or point out/good/.bad things about clio) , bearing in mind I can't really stretch to more than grp 14 insurance?

Thanks,

Tom

Sorry got quote for FRST and it was toooo much, more than alot of grp 15 cars i got quoted on such as an astra gsi.

Gambit, not really a fan of the golf mk2 just now, but cheers anyway.

Any opinions on the clio? and is it quicker than vts's and 106 gtis?

All i want done to exterior is 15" oz supper leggra's or super t's, and it lowering a bit.

Then some engine mods
