Engine-wise, Ford have plumped for its 1.6-litre eight-valve which develops 89bhp and a more than ample 0-60mph sprint of just over 12 seconds. Nothing earth-shattering, but this car is not about speed - its about image and style.

0-60 is not a gud judgement of how fast a car is, yes it may be even to 60mph but due to the ka having more bhp it will beat an sxi by some amount (75bhp - 94bhp) as this is where having greater bhp comes into effect

depends if u get them lowered.. but at the end of the day it comes to the drivers skill.. who is gunna win ralf schumacher in the corsa C 1.2 sxi or u in the street ka! i think i know who i would put my money on! i feel this post is getting off topic..
but just to add it abit..
Corsa C 1.8i SRi - 125 bhp 0-60 in 8.0 secs..
Ford Mondeo st220 - 226 bhp 0-60 in 7.5 secs..

i wud put my money on whoever was in the ka, as it is much more powerful, and has more torque

the mondeo is a much heavier car, in practice a corsa C 1.8 sri wont do 0-60 in 8 secs ho, evo tested it at 8.2
