at work 2 day a man drive in2 the car park in a silver evolution 8! i went out n had a look because it sounded phat! i got started talking 2 him n he said it was 4 sale? i said y? cause it was only a month old!!!! he said he come back from work once n his g/f had emptied out the house n left!! 
he had new wheels, carbon fibre splitter, carbon fibre wing mirrors. he tell me hes had a 13.G re-build!!!!!!!! n hes selling it 4 27.G

True.
If it had some serious tuning, of course the engine would have to be re-built. How can u replace things like pistons etc without taking it apart. The 8 has bin out long enough for Blitz, Hks, Norris etc to design some serious shit. Also the engine is esentially the same as the 7 and 6 which have been around for ages.

Its easy to wax £13k on a real car. You cant buy a full exhaust system for £300 like u can on a corsa Try £700+ for a half good one. Then theres the expensive items like turbo's and intercoolers, plus labour, i can see £13k being spent easy!

13k on peformance parts especially for a JAP motor like that can be easily done...just ask Adam Kindness...think he spent about 8-9K on his Supra before selling it...
