MK1 looked very dated and old now. Even the MK2 is looking past its best but is still the better choice.

well corsa boi cant drive for shit. I leave VTR's for dust all day long when it comes to acceleration and pure grunt. No match for the XE's mid-range.

vtr 0-60: 9.5, 98 bhp 120 mph (phase 2)
corsa 1.6 0-60: 9.3 120mph

your car is standard, you wont be 'leaving vtr's for dust' maybe you were confusing them with the 1.4 8v west coast

excuse me, but the VTR 0-60 is over 10seconds. I do it in 9. I have a very happy corsa which works very well thanks to drilled airbox with feeds and performance panel. So i do leave them for dust. I prove it everytime some lairy shit sits on my tail in one.

i think you'll find that the vtr book 0-60 is bang on 9.5 secs, 0.2 secs slower than the corsa 1.6 sport
