whats the best option?
i found a site which sells the plates, but they are shit, and they also sell this plastic plate that u screw over your number plate and allows only half the plate to be read when light shines on - i have seen these in real life and you cannot read then...
anywhere i can get the plate?

to be perfectly honest mate a friend of mine went through a speed camera years ago with no plates on his car and he was still brought in for questioning. They could read what radio station etc was on his stereo apparently mate it aint worth the risk so dont bother speeding

Get some jetpacks so you fly over the cameras instead of through them - They are called JATO and you can pick them up through the MOD.

yeh... loads of help...
I got flashed after 4 weeks of drivin, if i get anymore points i gotta take all my tests n shit again, so i would rather have some sort of protection.
When i got done by that camera i came out a 60mph country road, into another one, which had a camera behind a tree for 30mph!! i was doin 40.
I wanna reduce the risk of gettin points it makes sense.
Ppl on here are always more bothered bout makin jokes than helpin sometimes.

Just save up and get a detector then you wont risk speeding coz you will know theres a camera nearby - flashback plates allow you to travel over the speed limit and putting your licence at risk - you dont have to be speeding to get done - they might say you were driving without due care and attention.

If your really that concerned mate dont bother speeding, not worth loosing your license over is it?

if you was doing 60 then went into a 30 you should of seen the signs way in advance and slowed down...
theres no excuse, even if the camera was behind a tree,
Im sorry but your just silly for speeding,
On another note, if you do get caught again by a speed camera with a anti flash plate, they will try every way to find your car by looking at distinct features you have on it,
if they think its you, and they find your using that plate you will get your arse even more spanked.
Just dont speed. its easy

what a load of shite, "dont speed"
"signs way in advance and slowed down..."
He asked about what plates not about how to drive, im sure that you all break the law.
I agree with the others, get a radar detector, im gettin the snooper sd715 for £75 quid off of ebay, this detects all uk bands and has a few extra features

People using those plates are fuck wits. 99% of us abide by the law so why should someone scam it and get away? Slow down ffs and you won't have a problem...

i thought that those plates can still be read by the police anyway?
dont they use special filters that they can still make out what the plate is?
just thought of a question aswell...
if you riding a bicycle really really really fast say 40 in 30 would the camera flash?
ive heard that sometimes when you kick a football past a camera it'll go off aswell?

So you lot on here are saying that you always stick to speed limits???
BIGEST LOAD OF BOLLOX EVER
Everyone speeds, some are unlucky and get caught, hate it when people start preaching.
I dont speed through towns and stuff, always at speed limits, out on more open roads I hammer it and have some fun, good counrty roads by me for some constant 70-80's.
I aint saying speeding is right, people shouldnt speed, but I can garuntee that everyone here has broken limits in there time.
