this may sound stupid but is it illegal to have a bat in ur car. is it that if you hav a ball and glove aswell u can get away wiv it, but if its just a bat u can get sumfin for it?

thats ok then, just that ive found a massive chrome bat and i fink it will settle down nicely in my car.

You don't need anything at all. If they stop you they can do nothing. If you use it, obviously it becomes illegal, regardless of whether you have a ball with it!

i just bought a steerring lock thingy today which is like a batton with metal bits stickingout. pretty heavy so could do some damage but as far as police are concerned its a steering lock
