Off work today sick so thought I'd use the time to get round to fitting my headunit as it's been sat around for aaages

Tis an Alpine CDA-9812RB, pretty much same spec as my old 7894RB but now plays wma files as well as mp3's. That aside, not much different.

I also took a few piccies while doing it and have knocked together a lil basic tutorial if anyone finds it useful - you can find it here.

Ollie - My Corsa B was broken into about this time last year, needed a new passenger door, locks, etc and after it was repaired it just didn't seem the same. I wish I still had it now though as it would have been ripe for a 2.0

had sxi - £280, cheap as chips Might not look as flashy as some headunits around right now but I'd rather have a decent quality unit than a mobile disco Can't go wrong with Alpine IMO

I was going to ge the silver adaptor, but mine is one of the slightly later C's after they revised it a bit - which included making the dash colour a bit lighter so the Autoleads one wouldn't have been much good unfortunately - I am going to get another adaptor and attempt to spray it. Apparently there's a Vauxhall colour which is very very close

Steering controls are useless at the moment, but Alpine do a wiring loom that makes them work as I'll get them pretty soon - thats another £60 though
