I was woundering if any1 else who has a powerfull sub running at large amount of power, when the boot is closed makes a very loud vibrating soung, the car sounds amazing with 1600w of pure bass, but from the outside my car sounds like a crapy old nova,

I am running 2 pioneer tsw 305 12" on and audiobose 1600w amp

If u open ur boot and step outside it will as theres no aire getting/hitting the subs back.

If you mean ur boots closed and u step out and its what Ratterling? or u cant hear the sound much

Right u need to sound proff ur boot/car.
It sopkes up the waves from the subs.

U can get it from many places know as Sound deading or Flashing tape from B & Q.

i've heavily sound deadened my car using mainly brown bread and flashing tape () brown bread. Im hoping its gonna make a diff!

i've done the roof, a couple of layers in the boot and bootlid, couple of layers on the doors and a layer in the rear panels

hopefully when i've got me install it should sound mint!

flashing tap set me back about 40 quid for a couple of 10M rolls, and brown bread was about £80 and a bit of dynamat was about £20.

used everything in there, oh and i use a bit of expanding foam too!

oh my mate use flashing tap to do his boot and doors and that sounds a million time better than it used too. his only got a weak amp and you can hear it pumping out the choons....

not like corbs though!

brown bread is the same as dynamat, similar price i got it from R-Tech, cause they supply it instead of dynamat.

it was only £16 a roll too compared to £25 for dynamat down (robbing bastards) halfords.

ive seen a few people putting loo roll over the back windscreen wiper to stop it rattling, obviously not for cruising though!

me and my mate was talking about thistoday, his corsa rattels to F**K.

he says dynamate doesnt make a difference so he wouldnt bother getting it as it costs a bomb.
