197bhp and 204 lb/ft

Standard engine apart from piper and plugs.

So that's up 8bhp and 20lb/ft. Didn't do a before run too much hassle. Say's it all really though. Bit pissed that it didn't make 200bhp so near yet so far.

what you make at the wheels, what revs did you make these figures at, does your car overboost when reved from low revs.

p.s that hotshot stuff is shit. would not put that in my car

I love that hotshot stuff! Use it all the time at the pod.

Peak Bhp was at 6,050rpm and peak torque was at 2,450rpm. Not sure on boost but line was pretty even, not lumpy.

The graph is at the fly not the wheels, dunno about the wheels?

I'll get the graph scanned in same time as I get my Corsa pics done. I'm happy with the figures anyway. I know it's not a big gain but shows my engines good.

won't make fuck all difference unless his car is mapped for it. Waste of money otherwise.

but you did no "before" run, and therefore you do not know if the RR was reading accurately or not.

there are lots of factors which could distort the reading

NO SHIT!!!
optimax has a higher RON rating then normal unleaded but i bet he won't feel the difference as his ecu will be mapped for 95 ron so won't have the timing to take advantageof the higher ron.

To be fair, there's nothing wrong with wanting to see how the car is performing.

his car will have a knock sensor. his ECU will advance the timming accordingly. you'll see more power running 98 than 95.

Patrick what does it say in the hand book about petrol. I suspect it will advise 97 but 95 ok but with a power loss
