Hello everyone, i am thinking about making something for my corsa as part of my D&T A Level project. I have a few ideas, but just wondered, if you could have anything on your car or if you could make something for your car what would you have? what about a front bumper that could be raised and lowered for those nasty speedbumps? or anything else you would like?
any help apreciated,

hydraulics to lift your bonnet up with a touch of a button inside the carand a button inside it the bonnet to close with sensors so no-one can get caught in it

electric windows has already been done i am after making somethin that has never been done before, i like idea's of hydrolic bonnet and the boot build but they are more engineering projects rather than D&T Product design. i get marks for design more than the engineering, i was goin to make a front bumper that you could rise or lower depending on speed bumps and stuff but i aint got the facilitys to make one at collage  no injection mould or moulding gear, unless n e one has got a old front bumper that they dont want n e more damaged or what ever?

but just imagine the looks of the finger print one, just walking up and pressing your thumb to do the door and it opening, girls would be throwing themselves at you
go to a scrap yard if you can pick one up cheap if you dont find someone to donate one to the cause

here is a very simple idea but one of the best i have seen, a flip down blind for the area just above the rearview mirror. that is the only place i get blinded by the sun, and only audi ahve botherd to do sumthing about it.

how about a complete LCD dash for the corsa? Something ive been looking into, but the colour graphical LCD will cost about £10-15k since it has to be custom made to fit the half circle dash opening, but after the mould is made its fairly cheap to make em'. But still it would look pretty sweet
Or how about LCD number plates? Ive been doing research on this too and its abit 50/50 on whether its illegal/legal etc But if you can get around the problems, which are easy enough, then it could be a pretty sweet product Again you just need the cash to get the LCD made and the electrics but still.
