You should really reset the ecu mate, not alot of gain but you do feel a better throttle response.

dissconnect the battery for two hours after youve done the mod. Then connect up agen. Start car up let it idle for a few minutes, then take it out for a minutes and the ecu will have reset with the new mods.

If you don't reset it it wont know of the changes made, i dought anything would go wrong, but the ecu woudlt register the changes, but it only takes a couple of hours so id do it.

once you have reset it, it is very important you dont rev the engine when you start it up for the first time as all of the air intake etc settings would go arse over tit

You should just let it idle at first then take it out driving it as you usually would, having the battery dsconnected for an hr wud prob b fine, but i had mine for 2 hrs.

You both had an exhaust and he has a drilled airbox and panel filter on top of that.
You both had at least 4/5bhp on me - I would just be starting and you would have finished
Once I have got my Exhaust system sorted, you can come down again and I will show you how to do it.
OH and I had a full tank
(leave me alone )

Unlikely. And about resetting the ECU. No need at all really. ECU will adjust itself over time to compensate for the extra air being sucked into the engine. It is constantly re-programming itself as the car gets older anyway, to keep emissions in check.

Oh well diconected the battery last night to reset the ECU just to be on the safe side
How much bhp you reckon a exhaust/Drilled Airbox/Panel Filter will give you then...... as in Total Vauxhall I read at least 4bhp, maybe 5bhp if your lucky.... are they wrong then??
