always have their lights on? i just noticed this last week and now its all i can see! every single fucking volvo always has their lights on, even if the sun is gleeming.

has anyone else noticed this? if not watch out! WHY THE FUCK?!

made in scandanavia... so programmed to always be on... just for safety... sadly... that means all of them

and saabs -

it's cause they are sweedish and by law they have to have their side lights on all the time.

they have switch inside them to turn it off though.

Good for safety and driving round with your lights on is also good for your battery. That's why you see military vehicles doing so.

Some unmarked cop car Volvo's are altered so the lights are off, or so I've heard

you can turn the ones off in the volvo, dunno bout the saabs.

little thing that rotates with a screwdriver tuns them off.

Some old bitch in my town waved me down in the street and had a go at me for having my lights on. She reckoned it dazzled people in the sunlight

All new motorbikes now have to have that feature. Most bikers put their lights on anyway in the hope that they become more visible to other drivers.

Standard safety thing - i leave mine on in the punto when u take the key our ignition lights turn off.

I didn't understand a word of that..

I noticed this the other day also, with volvos, and also an american i always pass on the way to work has lights on, my dad said on american cars they are driving lights though....
