can't decide what direction to take my car now
at the mo it's on koni adjustables, stripped out with a couple of subtle changes on the bodywork, leightweight buckets, got some new wheels and will have a new engine soon,
so can't decide whether to:
1) go ak stylee on the interiour with no capets, heater etc, with roll cage, fibreglass panels, perspex windows fuel cell, etc
2) keep body and glass as it is and get some shiny bits for the engine
as it is now

A spoiler to your car wouldnt add a huge ammount of weight. But if your serious about weight loss, replace absolutely everything you possibly can with fibreglass and carbon fibre like I did. (Trust me, this is VERY expensive)
Then Id colour code everything, you want your car to be presentable. Loose the wheels and get Compomotive MO's or the like, perspex is a no-no for a road car and just maintain the engine with the rest of your money.
If you have money left over, spend it on advanced driving lessons, driving courses and track days.

I wouldnt jump straight to the 2.0 just yet. Get the car running perfectly then go to track days and race bigger cars, see how much you can keen on them. Learn to drive a slow car fast and you'll learn to find the limit of that car.
Buying a 2.0 just makes you automatically fast, meaning you wont learn as much. Plus its more impressive catching cars in a 1.4 than a 2.0
