when you hear it makes you stop what you are doing, sing along & think about things, about what could have been & what might be in the future etc?
A song that just sends you thinking about anything & evertything for the duration of it???

No offence, but the place is bloody weird - full of grannies by day and at night you get police cars and drunk people walking up to you asking "have you seen johnny?".

But yea back on topic, time of your life is pretty good, but Jimmy Eat World - Hear You Me does it for me but there are aload of others that do it too.

Yes this song has similar effects for me occasioanlly. Plus its an excellent chord progression and very easy to play, which pleases me.

Mines: Rank 1 - Airwave for 'stop and think about everything'

But I can't listen to Robbie Williams - Angels or REM - Everybody Hurts.

I know Robbies over played etc etc, which doens't help, but the songs you hear at certain stages of your life aren't your choice!

Coldplay - Yellow too.

Glad to see Airwave getting a mention.

For those who don't know it its a trance tune, with huge long sweeping strings. It just makes me go into 'retrospective' mode whever I hear it.
