Think the times were around 7.4-7.9 seconds, depending on the car (Astra, Calibra, Cav). (7.4 being Astra region)

some punk was givin it the usual shite about cav gsi's being faster than 16v golfs when there's fuk all between them in a straight line

But saying that a corsa with a 2.0 16 in shud be a bit quicker in a straight line so if it had a decent suspension set-up aswell it would have the edge over the golf (also with uprated susp) imo as it would be quite a bit quicker on the straights

I'll keep the wager on the Golf still.

Corsa will never ever handle as well as a mk1+mk2 golf.

Eh if you put a C20XE in a Corsa you cant run with standard suspension anyway cause of the weight.. so that kinda fcuks up the comparing standard with standard!

Anyway, put uprated suspension on both cars and the Corsa would still open a can of wooooop ass!
