this might sound stupied and it might just be comon sence but i'll ask anyway
2 subs both 300rms powered wjith 600rms, or 1 sub 600rms and powered with 600rms, which will be loudest and best to go for?
or they both be the same?

What he said, even better still, you could put the 2 subs in a ported box, and increase your dB's again.

well atm lads i'm getting a 400rms sub, 12" or 10" and a sealed box because i've been told thats better for dance music. and its gonna get powered with 350rms, will that be loud and bassy?? or will it not?

The sub will be more controlled with a sealed box. A 10" will be punchier, a 12" will be a bit meatier.

I would go for a 12" myself, i used to have three 10's and they were pretty good. but one on its own wouldn't be so hot

I havent got that far yet steve
Would probably have to be two 800w RMS amps at 2 ohm or i wonder if Corb's ground zero amp will be adequate?
