i think it would be a good idea for modders to have a stolen car website. Where the could post details of there car and post pics. this would give people a better chance of spotting the car

tend to find alot of fast saloons getting stolen and if they cannot break into the cars and take them they just boot your door into the house and take the keys. Theres been quite a few scooby's stolen on the scoobynet site some quite bad stories aswell...Subaru fit all there new impreza Sti's and optional on Wrx with trackstar

Some compnaies wont insure you unless u have some sort of tracker fitted. My dad got a quote once for an MGZR160 and they said they'd only insure him if a tracker was fitted.

Still no point everyone talking about what they'd have done or what he shouldve done. Its already been stolen!

Yeh and these are not just skag head opportunist thieves, they know what the want and wont stop til they get it. Definately stolen to order i reckon. Tis shocking really. Hope he gets a nice insurance payout if its not recovered.

i must be one of the lucky ones. I live in a village which is deader than dead....nothing happens around here, apart form a picket fence being knocked over, in which case that gets reported to the village newsletter ASAP
However, i have to agree. If i brought a car that cost me 30 odd grand+ i would certainly have a tracker fitted to the thing.
But yea, it does suck to want lengths people will go to, to get somthing cheaper/free. Its like my mates front bumper for his saxo...parked it in a carpark, to find that someone had ripped it off when he got back...he wasnt too pleased either

Unfortunatly that car is probably long gone

Like Vibs said the only way to protect that car to the biggest possible extent is to fit a tracker, however overseas in the US many have loaders that have lead metal containers to stop the car being tracked, i wonder how long it will take b4 that comes to this country
