The CTR would be so much better if they had fitted a PGTF EMAO PMSL ANAL LMFAO valve.

I thought this thread had died and been buried.
Matt, I accept there have been a few mindless posts on the CTR board - I hope my absence had been noticed.
Fair enough I originally come here for a Troll but in all honesty I really don't give a flying f**k about who has what, which can do this whilst that one can do that, in this place at that time with this fuel and that mod and this tyre...............................................................................

No we want to make the point that there are as many (if not more?) mindless fools on the CTR forum, and we are also up for a track day, similar in theme to the last time, when we logged a whole set of better times than a load of Saxos.

Because they are still sore from when Honda bummed them for the tidy sum of 18K

I reckon a track day should clear things up quite nicely, but tie in a few other events like 1/4 mile, 1000m sprints etc. that would be fun
Try and get Akeemking to drop over with his LET'd monster, that should cover the track side of things.

The CTR was behind me as we exited the first roundabout, I wasn't actually planning on racing but as soon as the we got onto the short straight I noticed that he got right up my arse so I put my foot down a little just to keep in interested
Then there is another roundabout which takes you onto the long straight, went around that roundabout at a sensible speed & then once he was also off the roundabout I floored it He tried to keep up bless him but the bread van just didn't have the minerals to keep up with the poxy little Corsa
I've noticed that when you have a race with most cars they'll give you a th=umbs up afterwards. Never has a single CTR driver done this, kinda says somethings about their owners. Esspecially after their ego has taken a beating
Ah well, hope he liked my number plate
PS- Robbo is the only sound CTR driver ..........ever )
Hello Corsa world, allow me to introduce myself.
I am a member of the www.civictype-r.co.uk forum.
It seems this thread has attracted a lot of interest (most of which you will not enjoy reading) and I have taken the liberty to come and enlighten you all.
Now before we get down to the nitty gritty please remember one thing – no matter how much work you do or money you spend you will still have a CORSA at the end of the day. This is the car most pensioners opt for if they cannot afford a Nissan Micra or, finances allowing, a Honda Jazz. This is the car which has a VAUXHALL badge on the front and Rear and is described as “A little town or city car”.
Now, when it comes to “Racing” against CTR’s on the road I will say this. We do not promote “Street Racing” and will not encourage any of our members to participate, however, if, as has been posted, a CTR driver (are you sure? Probably a 1.4i sport) was having a “Fling” with a Corsa (from behind I remember) maybe he couldn’t overtake because he was to busy wetting himself at that pathetic number plate!!!!
Do you lot REALLY think that a CORSA is a car worthy of some interest? Bollox!!!
You lot spend money trying to make your Granny Mobiles into something special – 150bhp/200bhp/250bhp/300bhp, it is all worthless guys, you still have a Vauxhall Corsa or does that not make sense?
Anyway, today I will get into my CTR and know that without spending a penny on the car I have 200 ponies ready to gallop at 8,250 rpm. On a Rev counter that is 2,250 revs beyond the zone where your car would start to disintegrate.
Oh, and just incase you think CTR owners don’t modify their cars you are more than welcome to come and see our forum.
Now, quit talking crap and go and give your Nan her car back.
few points
1st your car has 200ps (197hp)
2st it lacks torque so when you come to a hill it will slow down compared to a car with toqure
3rd revs do not matter as it is the power band that counts. your car needs to revs its tits off to develop the power
4th the corsa (don;t own one) is a car not originally designed for the track however there are a lot of motorsport and rally class corsa's out there racing because you can change things. the CTR is a much bewer design and is a aimed at a different sector of the market you cannot compare the two.
5th if the corsa is of no interest why are you here making a tit of your self and actually proving the point that CTR drivers are twats
6th I feel you need to read this book
