on a serious note my c20xe corsa weighed 836kg, was chipped, high lift cams, adjustable fuel press regulator, port polished head,421 manifold and usualy exhaust refinements, and standing starts with CTR's they wouldnt come past me until an indicated 130ish.
mates standard xe though with full interior had no chance at all!!

My stabdard XE (156bhp on the rollers) from 40-100 sat on a CTR tail until we had to slow down...Only experience I had with them.

sell out
but seriously, a ctr will wipe the floor with any xe corsa, even a tuned one. a c20let corsa will struggle against a ctr
corsas arent the fastest things on the road and i wish people would get that through their heads

As i've said, my Corsa XE lost out top end to a type R..
Donnas Corsa really wouldn't struggle with one though. Shes more into chasing M3's n such....

Perhaps I was unclear.
Its a type R, I was there, the Civic owner said he would go for one run, got beaten, said OK another, got beaten again, did another two - four in total - and got beaten on all of them.
Keiron and I both spoke to the type R owner.
The engine may have 136bhp standard, but its chipped - for perhaps another 2 brake or something - and I'm also guessing its got an F16CR box.
is the owner aware he has more than one gear then????

it had only one seat and dash. the figure of 836 was when it was scrapped. then it had seat removed
