I've been busy in the mornings before i go to work this week. I've been re-doing the "install" so i looks a lot cleaner rather than the afterthought that it was.
Unfortunately i didn't get any during the build pics, but i got a couple once its been finished

Decided to get an airbox from a 1.6 to replace the K&N cone filter. I'm just experimenting with it to see if theres a difference when its running between the two.
so, got my airbox (did this at work while no machines were broke down )
Then i hacked out all the bits that weren't needed. I also cut the side compartment off, as the box wouldn't fit between the cam cover and wing. Used lots of gaffer tape to seal it up and it did the trick well!
I then cut the original inlet tube off.....
....and then jointed it with some drain pipe that was the perfect size aka DaveB style! )
Then fitted it all to the van. (Bay needs a clean i know!)
Also had to put some biking references on the van.....

depends how you look at it, because some of the styling is retro, so some retro stickers dont seem totaly out of place

Update:
I'm on night shift this week, so on Mondays i get a full day to myself.
I had a few idea's in my head, and was chatting to Luke D last night and came up with the colour combo below. Reminds me of old icecream van wheels But i like them!
I also decided to smooth out where the banding could be seen
Bit of filler smoothed down
Then primed them in space saver wheels red
Then did the centres a similar colour to metallic kandy red.
And did the rims pure white. Looks like icecream van wheels
