I didnt do the conversion but im shure jamsport used the nova ecu...
Unfortunatly i carnt tell you how quick it is yet. Ive got 1000 miles to do before the engines fully worn in and i can open up the throttle, but it deffinatly feels a hell of alot quicker than my 1.2
Ive got the car back and spent the weekend doing stage 1 of the engine clean, there was also the issue of there being very little room for my piperx so thats been relocated down behind my bumper (which was a nightmare!!).
I then stripped some bits out of the way and made a start of cleaning all of the body coloured areas in the bay and tidying it up abit.
Next weekend i will be doing some more bits, so il get pictures up once ive done that.
Engine seems to be running ok now, had a problem with it overfueling but jamsport sorted it out
Pics before
After a good clean and polish of the blue areas, still got alot more to do!

AFM is the big silver thing, ECU is the black thing near the scuttle panel in the first and second pics.
We used the Nova GSi (or GTE) ECU, as it was supplied to us and Mark didn't want to upgrade yet.
Stop cleaning it and run it in

Spent today finishing off the engine bay, which included bolting on my stut brace, battery cover and oil cap..
Also cleaned the engine and small bits with the aid of 'Gunk', autosol and some elbow grease!
Tidied the wiring up abit aswell, anyway heres some pictures -
This is it fully cleaned, but thought the exhaust manifold looked out of place
So i got some black high temp paint and sprayed it
Much better imo
