Thought Carrick was exposed too - Showing he isn't upto the standards required IMO defending leaves a lot to be desired (as does Scholes obviously) they were out witted, battled, passed and tackled. Poor all round, Heize is awful as said.

Absolutely gutted. No excuses we were awful. Gattusso had Ronaldo in his pocket all night and we didn't have anyone else to step up and take the game to them. Could have done with a certain Irishman on the pitch last night

we were absolutely shit last night. couldn't pass in there 3rd of the pitch. teh big names didn't step up at all.

saying that ac played well and deserved it. think t'pool will find it hard to beat them if they play like they did last night

I know its been said but no argument.

We played as poor as i have seen us play this season.
Nobody had any hunger to take the game on their shoulders. Didnt see anyone pumped up for united like gattuso was even from the warm up.

Wasnt our night and didnt deserve anything from the game. Milan outplayed us and showed more desire. WE didnt even have the last 10 mins as you would expect in that situation.
Was more likely to go to 4-0 than 3-1.

Gutted and let down but fair playto Milan played brilliant.
SHould be a great game against milan!

Not sure who will win (but hoping Milan get some revenge on 'pool )

I think Milan will win in all honesty. They look dangerous, and can't see how anyone can keep Kaka quiet.

I hope Liverpool do it though of course.

worst I have seen Man Utd play for a while, gutted they didn't go through as would of loved an all english CL final.

Don't know what the fcuk Heinze was playing at for their second goal, he had a few seconds to jump pump it clear, instead he passed to the centre-back who was under pressure

Just goes to show what happens when you do the basic things poorly.

I love the way liverpool are going to get battered just because man utd did, we have shown we can deal with europes best and also the style of play. Man utd had the pace dictated to them, all milan did was play simple slow stuff and looked patient. Man utd looked absolutely woeful last night as all of their supporters will tell you. No-one had any belief and their organisation was terrible.

No doubt milan are a real force and you can't argue with how they all play for the team. Gattuso put ronaldo out of the game and was hungriest player on the pitch. Kaka is awesome, so precise and strong. Gilardinho took his well. Plus the san siro was rocking

But, liverpool can shut there game down and dictate the pace imo. Whatever happens we need to score first this time.

^^^ 100% agree.

We are better as a defensive unit than Utd are and if we can get Kaka out of the game we can contol it to our pace, just as we did against Barca and Chelsea this year.

Im more worried about where our goals will come from, but Crouchs height may be the advantage.

about the result though!!
