the graphics are very good, very colourful with great lighting, and these jagged edges people are on about on a r74 at 1080i i am not seeing any except very slighty where the rear number plate would be on the bmw e36 m3.
Try 720p and it'll be even better.

When this game comes out, can we all go and race on xbox live, and talk about who's the best virtual driver?

I'm tired but at least you're not sat up doing an assignment querying this statement... 'Anthropologists have recognised that cultural systems of belief, knowledge, and social order contribute to children's acquisition of language'... It's in for tomorrow

It's pretty good!
Agreed about the sound, it sounds amazing!! Raced a car from each class, the McLaren F1 Race Car was a bit tricky

just played it. zonda, m3 and lambo with all aids off except abs.
graphics. i'm not gonna lie. there pretty wank. there good compared to what else is out on teh xbox. but its not at gthd level. i'm being completely honest here. for a simulator. i expect it to look like one. not bright colourful vibrate visuals. flat grass and cartoony looking cars. but on the flip side, it runs very smoothly which is what you want for a racing game.
sound is excellent and how the cars handle is very good. i'm impressed with the way it drifts and slides around. i bit difficult to judge at first. but i like games with learning curves
damage is alright, nothing we haven't seen before
overall it looks like an arcade racer. but drives like a simulator. was kinda hoping for customizing the cars but you can't have everything.

trouble is rus, gthd was rendering one car, with no damage, physics at 60fps, and gfx at 30fps, if gthd was run at fm2 levels, loads of cars etc, then theres noway it would look like it does.
also setting up your tv better helps with the vivid colours

Remember this is a demo people, im sure they used one of the smallest tracks with less scenery just to get the demo out.
I agree, the graphics arent breathtaking, but if i wanted impressive graphics, id buy need for speed/burnout etc. This is a sim game.
I was very impressed with it last night, only had a few races but i can see me getting used to it, and having some serious fun drifting around the corners
I still havent seen GTHD running, and i admit, it does look very impressive. But it is just basically GT4 with a higher res - so nothing special.
I will be getting a 1080p tv after the summer, so hopefully that will jazz the GFX up a bit
