Another day, another update
Took the car to Jamsport earlier, diagnosis is that it's probably the fuel pump, so one has been ordered, and we'll see.
Meanwhile, my airbox turned up today, so I've fitted it.
This was the manky old, oily Pipercross filter I had on it before (which was OPEN underneath, no protection at all)
Told you it was oily
So, airbox on, cold air feed attatched, much better.
I had to take the battery off when I was doing this (which meant removing the grille, to get to the clamp easily ), while this was off, I thought I might as well fit my Dis-Car-Nect battery clamp immobiliser thingy.
Really easy to fit, really good quality, cheap and effective (comes with 4 spare fuses, so I tried it, and it worked)
Car can be started here -
Now it can't -
Simple.
Then, I went a bit mad and took my dremel to my glovebox catch, to fit the Porsche one, basically, the Porsche one is upside down, so the cover (with the badge) won't fit, bit after a bit of bodgery....
I like it anyway, no doubt it's chav though
Then my numberplate 'fell' off officer
Put it back on though as I CBA with the hassle from the police
Few more shots -
And, for JR, the reason it's not in the garage -

I'm paying under £800 at 21 (and was at 20 too) with 1NCB and no points.
or £500 when I transfer to a classic policy.

Need to save up some cash Chris.
Exhaust is next, then coilovers.
That is, unless the engine is buggered, which hopefully I'll find out tomorrow

Took it to Jamsport earlier to have it fixed, went in a couple of days ago and Jamie diagnosed it as a fuel pump issue, so a new one was ordered.
Went back in today and had it fitted and then had the timing and fuelling set up on the rollers, resulting in no misfire and a much better car to drive.
Here's the RR graph
That's a loss of 1 bhp every 5 years or so Pretty damn good I think
They even gave me a pair of free stickers
I'm VERY happy now, thanks to the guys at Jamsport.
